Price of Tour
Cost: $5650.00 includes airport pickup, flights Ha Noi-Da Nang-Ha Noi, all ground transport, all 15 nights hotel accommodations and all else on the inclusions list. The cost for a second person who accompanies you on the tour and gets the same inclusions except the photography workshop/mentoring and you and they share a double room, is an additional $1180.
Price does not include flight into and out of Vietnam, meals not specified, beverages, and any tips you personally decide to give.
The price is based on single occupancy for an individual participant and double occupancy if you are accompanied by a second person
If there are two photographers who are traveling together both must pay the full cost. But if they want to share a double room to get a small savings on the tour cost we may be able to accommodate it – in that case please inquire.
Tour Cost, Deposit, and Final Payment
A deposit of $500 per participant is due at the time of your booking/registration. Full final payment is due 42 days prior to the start of the workshop. If a friend or spouse will be accompanying you, please add $150 for their deposit.
Cancellation
If you cancel 50 days or more prior to the start of the workshop, we refund your deposit less a $250 administrative fee. After that if you cancel we can not return any of your deposit
If we do not receive your final payment on time we reserve the right to cancel your registration and retain the deposit.
If you are canceling please notify us by phone or email, but if it is by phone please then send us a written letter or an email. In the unlikely event we have to cancel a tour, a full refund will be given.
The workshop tours require a minimum number of registrations in order to serve you best. If that minimum is not met by 50 days prior to the start of the workshop we may cancel the tour but in no case would we cancel it after the 50 days period is passed. However we recommend you delay making your airline reservatuion until then as the period 7 weeks and less before a flight is usually when the lowest prices become available. In addition we always buy trip cancellation insurance. It is cheap and we recommend you do the same
Responsibility
Dattilio Studio, and their agents act only in the role as organizers in all matters pertaining to hotel accommodations, sightseeing tours, and transportation. They and are not responsible for any loss, damage, theft, or injury to person or property resulting from a defect in any vehicle, or the actions of any persons who provide services for this tour or for the action or inaction of any third party. Baggage including photography equipment is carried on the tour at the owner’s risk entirely. After you register with your deposit you will be sent a release form to sign and return, a requirement for the workshop
Dattilio Studio reserves the right to cancel the tour at any time if natural or man made conditions develop that make the tour unsafe for the participants and our staff.
Health
It is the responsibility of each tour participant to inform the tour leader or tour staff of any possible health problems or handicaps upon registration or during the tour. By sending Dattilio Studio a signed reservation form with a deposit, you are certifying that you have no physical or other medical conditions that would cause a risk for yourself, or other trip participants, or the Dattilio Studio staff. Once your registration has been confirmed by us any medical circumstances that develop after will not change the terms of the cancellation policy. We will not assume any responsibility for medical care or for special dietary requirements during the tour. Insurance
To allow for any unexpected contingencies, all participants are strongly urged to purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance.
Dattilio Studio suggests you have your photography equipment insured in a written rider to your home or apartment insurance policy. If you can not insure that way you can obtain a special policy just for your equipment. If you want to know more call us for a referral to that specialty form of insurance.
You should have a health insurance policy that covers you for foreign travel. Please check your policy or call your insurer to verify this.
Itinerary
Dattilio Studio reserves the right to alter anything in the published trip itinerary for any conditions adverse to the safety or goals of the tour including weather, ocean or road conditions, government restrictions, and other reasons beyond our control. The tour leader and/or the Dattilio Studio Vietnam Operations Manager has the right to make changes in the published itinerary whenever in his/her sole judgment conditions warrant, or if she/he deems it necessary for the comfort or safety of the tour.
