Teaching

Individualized fine art photography lessons are available now

As of August 2011 we have openings for 3 more students for Aug. 1 – Oct 12, 2011

After teaching fine art photography for years at places such as The University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Center for Photography, and the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts, I now enjoy helping people through our own Dattilio Studio.  Currently in 2011 we have a small number of students who come to us for individual attention – it is more of a mentoring style.  The current students range from 9 years old to others in their 60s and they reside around the south east quarter of Wisconsin.  After being contacted by a possible student I get a sense of what their goals are for their photography.  Then the student and I work out a learning course tailored to them and at times they know they can handle with their schedule.  That way there are no missed classes and each student gets precise and individualized help appropriate to their needs and ambitions.  The costs for the training depend on how many hours are involved, a result of the range of things you want help with. For example getting a thorough training in the use of your digital camera takes ten hours for most people but if you add learning to use the flash or a specialized addition such as macro photography the hours needed are more.

Since the scheduling is quite flexible it is possible I can help you too if you would like to inquire.

You can find out more by calling me at 262-227-0595.   I can also direct you to the web sites of students  whose work has continued to grow partially influenced by the mentoring they received.
