March 2010 Fotofest's Meeting Place in Houston- Larry has been accepted for the first session of this review that is the largest in the world. He expects to show reviewers the Ha Noi work and at least two other conceptual projects that explore the medium in new ways. January 2010 - LA Review - . Larry shared a portfolio of 22 photographs from the Ha Noi book project with ten reviewers at this Santa Monica event that parallels Photo LA New Book on Ha Noi, Vietnam with Verve Editions . Larry made his seventh trip to Vietnam During November/December 2009 for some additional photographs for this book. The 160 page book is planned for release in the first half of 2011 to celebrate Ha Noi at the time as it celebrates it's thousand year old History. Two internationally known writers have agreed to contribute essays to the book. Micro Finance photographs by Larry is a project aimed at illustrating the success of these programs worldwide. As a result of Larry's photographs and work with members of the Elmbrook Rotary Club, the club has begun a five year financial commitment to the Vietnam program. VNHELP in California has also raised money for this effort and will become the transaction agent for future loans and grants to the Vinh Phuc program. October 2009 - Redline Milwaukee, a large visual arts facility, has selected Larry as one of its four mentor, established artists. His main studio is located there at 1422 N. 4th Street, Milwaukee, WI. May 2009 - Solo exhibit at Gallery THOstudio in Ha Noi. April 2009 - A significant anonymous donation was made to support the work in Vietnam led by Larry. The Underwood Foundation is coordinating these donations for the Vietnam programs. 2007 - 2008 Vietnam Grants and Trips - Larry made three trips to Ha Noi of one to three months in length for the photo projects there. These were supported primarily by The Underwood Foundation grants. February 2008 - Larry had a large solo exhibit of his Ha Noi images at the Vietnam National Museum of Fine Arts. Support from the Ford Foundation and The Greater Milwaukee Foundation Mary L. Nohl suitcase fund made the exhbiti possible.
